Bonus Value Calculator
Enter any deposit bonus and see the real expected value: total turnover, expected loss, your chance of clearing the wagering, and a plain verdict.
Example: 100% to $200, 35x bonus, 4% edge slot
Bonus $100.00. You must bet $3500.00 in total, which costs $140.00 on average. Turn on JavaScript to calculate your own offer.
How it works
- Enter the offer: deposit, match, maximum bonus and wagering requirement, or pick a common shape.
- Choose the game you would play. Its house edge and how much of each bet counts towards wagering decide the cost.
- The calculator multiplies turnover by the house edge, then plays the wagering out bet by bet, stopping if your balance hits zero.
- You get the expected value, the chance of clearing, and a verdict. All numbers are long-run averages, not promises.
What the maths says
The cost of a bonus is the house edge times everything you must bet to release it. A $100 deposit with a 100% match to $200 and 35x wagering on the bonus means betting $3,500. On a slot with a 4% edge that turnover costs $140.00 on average, against a $100.00 bonus: on paper the offer is worth −$40.00.
The paper figure ignores one thing: you stop when your balance hits zero, so you can never lose more than the deposit plus bonus. The calculator therefore plays the wagering out bet by bet (exactly where it can, otherwise with 20,000 seeded simulations). For the example, the played-out value is −$15.10 and you finish the wagering about 53% of the time.
Game contribution matters as much as the edge: if blackjack counts 10%, every $1 of wagering needs $10 of bets, which multiplies the cost by ten. The game model here is a simplified slot or even-money bet with the edge you enter, not any specific game.
